A quiet duplex in a loud bazaar.

Our first commission was ourselves: 2,500 square feet folded into a busy commercial locality of Jamnagar, designed as a retreat where drawings can think. Engineers and architects work here at the same long table, arguing over the same sections.

Decades of civil and structural work across Saurashtra precede this firm — foundations, frames and the kind of judgement no software ships with. As Senior Partner he signs the structure on every AVD sheet, which is why the architecture is allowed to be brave.

Principal Architect and keeper of the plan. From St. Ann's red arches to Shivaay's layered street front, his drawings begin with how air and light will move through a building — and only then with how it looks.

Principal Architect working from the doorknob outward and the masterplan inward. Interiors, joinery and material palettes carry her line; Prembhixu, the home she is building for her own family, is the studio's most honest portfolio piece.
